Who We Are

Reviving Rural Futures through Green Energy & Smart Farming

Prakriti Abha Organic Initiative LLP is a green energy-driven agri-enterprise transforming rural livelihoods through sustainable, smart farming. We promote solar-powered mechanization across agriculture, livestock, and tourism sectors.

Our integrated farm in Birbhum, West Bengal, serves as both a demo site and training hub, showcasing circular economy practices in food, feed, herbal cultivation, livestock, and fisheries.

To rekindle interest in farming, we’re launching a Farm School to train agri-entrepreneurs through a hands-on curriculum. Through our FPO-led model, we enable contract farming, market linkages, and access to government schemes.

Our Founding Story

From Vision to Action

  • 2019 – The Spark: Rural development experts, farmers, and clean energy advocates asked: why isn’t agriculture part of the green energy revolution? The idea of a sustainable, farm-based ecosystem was born.
  • 2020 – Groundwork Begins: In Birbhum, West Bengal, land was secured, community input gathered, and traditional knowledge aligned with clean energy goals. A “living lab” began to take shape.
  • 2021 – Pilot Farm Built: Our demo farm included:
    • Indigenous rice and Napier fodder cultivation
    • Goatery and poultry units
    • Composting and circular waste practices
  • 2022 – Vertical Expansion: Horticulture, fisheries, and herbal units added. SSMWPP (Seed, Soil, Moisture, Weed, Pest, Produce) adopted. Ethno-veterinary and farm tourism ideas tested.
  • 2023 – Launch of the Farm School: Designed to train youth in smart farming and entrepreneurship. FPO-led contract farming and upskilling across food, feed, livestock, and tourism launched.
  • 2024 – Partnerships & Scaling: Partnered with NGOs, energy companies, and civil groups. Government scheme facilitation began. Shared infrastructure and leased farms formed the FPO network.
  • 2025 – A Rural Revolution: PAOI has become:
    • A training & placement hub for agri-entrepreneurs
    • A green energy model for rural India
    • A rural tourism destination
    • A live example of circular agriculture in action

Our Model

Smart Farming

We promote climate-resilient crops like millets, and GI-tagged varieties such as Govindobhog and Mallifulo rice, using our core SSMWPP model.
